Jim Corbett

Jim Corbett National Park in India is the most talked about, when it comes to Tiger's. I visit this park regulary and every year. This year I visited this park from 25th till 28th November (2010). Though the park has an estimated population of about 145 tigers, but the sighting is very difficult as the park is very large and forest is dense. For the past 2 years I have not been able to sight a single Tiger.

This year I choose Durga Devi and Bijrani zone for the safari. Durga Devi zone is a hilly area and as it was morning safari, their was not much wild life to be seen except for some spotted dear and. We went to Bijrani zone in the afternoon safari. Though we could not sight any tiger but deers like Spotted, Sambhar etc could be seen. Lot of pug marks of tiger on every route gave us a satisfaction that the king still roams the jungle.
